How we handle your data

Short, because there is little to say: this site collects almost nothing, and what you send us stays between you and the house.

Who is responsible

What this site collects

Nothing through forms. The contact page opens your own mail application with a message ready to send; nothing is stored on our servers. What you then send us is ordinary correspondence, kept for as long as we need it to answer you and, if you become an owner or a guest, for the length of our relationship and the period the law requires for accounting records.

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking. The site sets no cookies. It uses one item of browser session storage to avoid replaying the opening animation within a visit; it contains no personal data and disappears when you close the tab.

Hosting logs. The site is served by Vercel Inc. (440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA), which records standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) for security and to keep the service running. These are kept briefly and are not used to identify visitors. Vercel processes data under the EU standard contractual clauses.

Owners and guests

To keep a house we hold what the work needs: your contact details, the house’s details, keys and access arrangements, the ledger of work and costs, and guest names and dates where a stay is arranged. This is processed to perform our agreement with you and to meet legal obligations. It is shared only with the people who do the work (a gardener, a pool technician, a tradesman) and only what they need. It is never sold or used for advertising.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, and receive a copy. Write to the address above; we answer within a month. You may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French supervisory authority.
